The Chairman of General Authority for Civil Aviation Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Nour Rahimi signed here today an advisory services contract on a project of ''Airports Cities'' with International Finance Corporation (IFC), an affiliate of the World Bank. Eng. Rahimi pointed out that the International Finance Corporation enjoys a vast international experience in good preparation for such projects, noting that IFC's participation in the study, preparation and evaluation of these projects builds bridges of confidence and transparency between the Authority and the private sector. The Airports Cities Project aims to develop the Authority's financial resources, to create commercial channels outside navigational activities, to support the economic output of the state and to benefit from the experience and administrative, technical and technological competencies available to the private sector.
