Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr al-Qirbi held talks here today with Iceland's delegation on their request to Yemen for supporting Iceland's nomination for a non-permanent membership in the Security Council, Saba reported. During the meeting with the envoy of Iceland's Foreign Minister Christine Arnardottir, al-Qirbi voiced the Yemeni keenness on gaining advantages from Iceland's experience in field of generating Electricity from Geothermal Energy. The meeting also dealt with the bilateral ties between Yemen and Iceland and coordinating their attitudes in the different international events.
