Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Interior Minister, launched here last night the new Family Record System. Speaking on the occasion, Nasser al-Hanaya, the undersecretary of the interior ministry for civil affairs, said the issuance of the family record system constitutes an advanced step in designing and printing the documents which are issued by the interior ministry. He noted that the civil affairs at the interior ministry in cooperation with the national data center has continued in building the system of technical work through several projects. He pointed out that the civil affairs along with the other concerned sectors has been contributing to finding the electronic national identity card. He noted that the civil affairs is the authority which is concerned with the citizen's civil record. He attributed the success attained in developing the activities of the civil affairs to the grace of Allah Almighty and the directives of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the interior minister, and his deputy Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz. He pointed out that Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz , the assistant interior minister for security affairs, has been doing his best to promote works at the civil affairs. --MORE
