The Global Council for Cooperation among Civilizations and Cultures, has awarded Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, the highest Humanitarian Services Medal for the year 2007 in recognition of his great efforts in spreading Culture of Charity works, combating poverty and his contribution in promoting humanitarian works and services. The Crown Prince was awarded the medal by the Sweden-based Council in his capacity as Chairman of the board of trustees of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Charity Foundation and after a comprehensive evaluation for the profiles of the pioneering Charitable works nominees around the World in which two persons are selected among 36 International dignitaries for this Medal. The Charity, relief, health, educational, cultural, environmental, social, and humanitarian services are attaining great care of the Crown Prince at National, Regional and International arenas regardless of race , color or religion, said the Selection Committee of the Medal. The Crown Prince is also mobilizing all his potentialities even his own residence to serve these noble humanitarian objectives, the Committee pointed out.
