Under the Patronage of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, the Vice Governor of Riyadh Region, Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood, Under Secretary of the Riyadh Governorate inaugurated Saturday evening at Marriott Hotel here, the activities of a Five-day International Orthopedic Surgery Conference organized by The Saudi Society for Orthopedic Surgery. Addressing the gathering, Chairman of the Saudi Society's Board of Directors Dr.Hazim bin Mohamed Ishaq Al Al-khuashki welcomed Prince Sattam for gracing the Conference. Reviewing the efforts of the Saudi Society, Dr. Al Al-khuashki said it has attracted orthopedic Physicians from around The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. "Moreover, the Society has concluded recently an International accord with "INJURY" Journal to put the society's emblem on the cover of the Journal in order to be an official journal for the Society in fractures Surgery. Dr.Al Al-khuashki expressed his thanks to all those who have contributed in holding the Conference including King Saud University and Scientific Societies. On his part, the Undersecretary of King Saud University Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Rowais pointed out in a speech to the gathering that the University had assisted 45 Saudi Scientific Societies in various aspects of Sciences. These Societies especially medical ones positively contributed in benefiting from International and Arab experiences, he added. --MORE
