Under the patronage of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh region, the Undersecretary of Riyadh region governorate Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood inaugurated the First World Orthopedic Surgery Conference here today. The five-day conference was organized by Saudi Orthopedic Surgery Society. A speech ceremony was held on this occasion in which speakers reviewed the Society's efforts in orthopedic surgery. The speech of Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Society and Honorary President of Saudi Orthopedic Surgery Society was delivered on his behalf by Society's Vice President Dr. Salih Al-Tuwaijri who expressed his appreciation of Prince Sattam for patronizing the conference concerning with Orthopedic Surgery and embodying the keenness of the government on preservation of human safety and health.
