The International Commission on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination Against Women today started the study of a report submitted by the Saudi delegation, led by Dr. Zaid bin Abdulmohsen Al Hussein, Deputy Chairman of the Human Rights Commission, on the situation of women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, Al Hussein said the report submitted to the commission's 40th session comes in the aftermath of the Kingdom's accession to the Agreement on Elimination of Racial Discrimination Against Women.
