Interior Minister's Advisor Dr. Saad Al-Arabi Al-Harisi, who is also Chairman of the Saudi Charity Committee to provide relief to the victims of Tsunami in East Asia accompanied by Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia Abdul-Rahman Al-Khayat, inaugurated today the Committee-funded Arabic Language Center at Rayat Bait Al-Rahman Mosque in Aceh. The Center will be supervised by The Institute of Islamic and Arabic sciences in Indonesia, an affiliate of the Riyadh-based Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University. The Institute, the first of its kind (in Aceh region) can accommodate as many as 120 male and female students who can pursue academic studies in Arabic language and its grammar, said The director of the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in Indonesia Dr. Abdullah Hadhid Al-Salami, who is also Chairman of the Center's board of Directors. --MORE
