Chairman of the Shoura (consultative) council Dr Salih bin Abdullah bin Humeid has received an invitation to participate in the 50th session of the Council of the Arab parliamentary federation and the 13th conference due to be held in Iraq next March. The invitation was extended to him by speaker of the Iraqi council of deputies Dr Mahmoud al-Mash'hadani during a meeting here today. Meanwhile, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom and Iraq notably at the parliamentary arena. Meanwhile, Dr Bin Humeid received in Mina speaker of the council of deputies in Bahrain Khalifa bin Ahmad al-Dhahrani. They reviewed issues pertaining to bilateral relations On the other hand, Dr Bin Humeid received in Makkah a number of members of Islamic and international parliaments who performed Hajj this year. They included members of the parliaments in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Nepal, South Africa and Togo. Speaking on the occasion Dr Bin Humeid said the Shoura used to extend invitations every year to a number of members of the legislative and parliamentary councils in the various countries to perform Hajj. At these meetings issues of mutual interest were reviewed.
