Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, who is also Chairman of Central Hajj Committee, delivered today a press statement in which he congratulated pilgrims on performing their Hajj rituals safely and smoothly. This matter deserves appreciating all officials in this country, particularly the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, he said. He also lauded the constant and direct supervision made by Minister of Interior Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, who is also Chairman of the higher Hajj Committee, pointing out that there was a lot of projects that contributed to the success of this year's Hajj season, particularly Jamarat Bridge which was ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The daily flow of pilgrims on Jamarat Bridge was impressive. Also, the movement in the Grand Mosque was smooth. The pilgrims are now performing their perhaps last rituals easily, he said. He also said that observations recorded by the committees formed to follow-up the march of pilgrims and by individuals will be reviewed during the meetings of Central Hajj Committee that will begin after the end of Hajj season. --More
