Iranian police and security forces killed four persons suspected of terrorist activities in a shootout in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchistan, the state television reported on Thursday. The TV report said police and intelligence officers killed the four who allegedly were «leaders of a terrorist group.» The report cited a statement by the provincial intelligence department saying they were «involved in many terrorist and sabotage activities in the country.»
