At least six people, including one soldier, were killed on Saturday in a suicide attack at a military base in Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province (NWFP), DPA quoted the chief military spokesman as saying. "The suicide bomber, who was riding a bicycle, blew himself up as soon as he reached a check post at the main gate of Army Services Corps centre at Nowshehra military base," Major General Waheed Arshad said. One soldier and four civilians were killed and 10 people, including eight security personnel, were injured in the attack, added Arshad, who had previously said two army men were killed in the incident. The charred body of the attacker was moved to the hospital for DNA testing. The security forces cordoned off the area and the injured were moved to a military hospital in Nowshehra, around 100 kilometres west of the capital, Islamabad.
