The 51st session of Beirut International Arab book fair, currently ongoing in this Mediterranean resort capital of Lebanon, witnessed remarkable Saudi participation in addition to 51 local publishers, exhibitors from Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iran, and Iraq and a number of international organizations and publishers. The Saudi pavilion included publications representing the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowment, Call and Guidance; King Fahd Complex for Printing the holy Quran; University of Ummul Qura; King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals; Madinah-based Islamic University; Ministry of Culture and Information; King Abdulaziz Public Library; King Saud University; Public Administration Institute; King Fahd National Library; Ministry of Labor; Darat Al-Malik Abdulaziz (King Abdulaziz Center for Archives and Research), Ministry of Higher Education; and the Ministry of Education. Accordingly, the pavilion ranked first as a foreign exhibitor, according to organizers.
