All five people killed when a small plane crashed outside Kiev have been identified as Czech nationals, officials said Monday. The chartered plane crashed Sunday afternoon in dense fog, killing all five on board _ two crew members and three passengers, the Emergency Situations Ministry said in a statement. The turboprop-powered Beechcraft had been on a charter flight from the Czech city of Hradec Kralove to the Zhulyany airport in Kiev's southwestern outskirts. It crashed in a field near a major highway and burst into flames. The plane belonged to the Czech company MINIB Ltd., said Natalia Alyushina, a Transport Ministry spokeswoman. The cause of the crash is being investigated, the Associated Press reported.
