Seventy-eight people were killed and another three were seriously injured in the crash of a C-130 Hercules military transport plane in southern Morocco on Tuesday, according to the Maghreb Arab Press Agency. Official sources said the plane was flying 60 servicemen, 12 civilians and nine crew. The plane reportedly met with an accident in a highland area near the settlement of Guelmim. Police representatives said the crash might have been caused by poor weather conditions, possibly dense fog. A probe into the plane crash is underway, Itar-Tass reported.
