Two U.S. soldiers were killed in a «complex attack» involving a roadside bomb and small arms fire north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said Wednesday. The soldiers died Tuesday while conducting operations in Salahuddin province north of Baghdad, the military said in a statement. Two other soldiers were wounded in the attack, it said. The victims' names were withheld pending family notification. At least 3,885 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. The figure includes eight military civilians.
