The Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul-mohsin Al-turki visited here today Kuwaiti Ummah (Nation) Council headquarters and was welcomed by Ummah Council speaker Jassim bin Mohamed Al-khrafi. Meanwhile, a meeting held during the visit, dealt with the current situation of Muslim people in the light of recent international developments and challenges facing the Islamic countries, especially anti-Islam campaign. "The MWL and its affiliated Islamic bodies are working along with other Islamic Organizations in the world to bring together the Muslim world and to unify their stance towards events and challenges facing the Islamic Ummah." "The MWL is also coordinating efforts among organizations, charity societies and Islamic centers across the world in order to ensure the unity of Islamic stance," Al-turki said. On his part , Al-khrafi praised the efforts being exerted by the MWL to unify all Muslims and expressed optimism that the League would achieve its Islamic targets for the benefit of all Muslims.
