Commerce Ministers of member states of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council began here today their 37th meeting. The meeting will focus on a number of issues aimed at strengthening and supporting trade exchanges between GCC states and proposals on new spheres of trade cooperation. It will also deal with an in-depth review of the phenomenon of price hikes of food commodities, building materials and basic items in GCC markets. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
