Executive Officer of Saudi Aramco for Refining, Marketing and International Business Khaled Albu'ainain delivered a speech in which he said that the number of Saudi employees at the Saudi Strategic Storage is 3000 representing 98% . "The project aims to distribute fuel in our country and meet the domestic market's demands of fuel," he added. William Hmaijerin delivered a speech on behalf of the company executing the project, saying "This project is a huge achievement for the government of Saudi Arabia in terms of high-level oil security". Then, the Governor and the audience attended a luncheon held by the Director General of Saudi Strategic Storage. At the end of the opening party, the Governor thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince for establishing this vital project. The opening party and the luncheon were attended by senior officials.
