Agriculture Minister opens Workshop on usage of treated water

Minister of Agriculture Dr Fahd Balghunaim opened here today a workshop on the executive statute for usage of treated sewage water in cultivation.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Balghunaim said the usage of treated water in irrigation of agricultural crops is a strategic option for the Kingdom due to scarcity of water in the county.
He highlighted the existing coordination with the ministry of water and electricity for broadening the scope of usage of sewage water.
