A twin-engine airplane with four people on board crashed Friday over six houses in the Brazilian Amazonian city of Manaus, but no one was killed, according to dpa. The public organization that manages Brazilian airports, Infraero, said that despite the seriousness of the accident there were no serious injuries either among the plane's passengers or the residents of the affected houses. The EMB-810C aircraft, built by Brazilian company Embraer and belonging to the air taxi company Lafir, took off from Manaus airport for an airplane club belonging to the same firm.
