Russian President Vladimir Putin received this afternoon at Kremlin Palace here Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who is currently visiting the Russian Federation.
Russian President welcomed Crown Prince wishing him a good stay, noting the good relations shared between the two countries and the keenness of the two countries on promote these relations.
On his part, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz delivered a statement in which he conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, expressing his happiness to visit Russia and meet with Russian President.
Crown Prince highlighted the distinguished relations between the two countries and their positions in the regional and the international issues.
During the meeting, they reviewed the historical ties between the two friendly countries and the importance of developing bilateral relations in all fields and mutual coordination for the sake of common interests.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
After that, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a luncheon in honor of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The luncheon was attended by princes and the accompanying delegation.
