U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney received here on Sunday Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, who is currently visiting the United States. Cheney hosted a luncheon on in honor of Crown Prince Abdullah. The luncheon was attended by Crown Prince Abdullah's accompanying delegation and a number of US officials. Later, Crown Prince Abdullah held talks with Cheney on the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the U.S., and the latest developments in the Middle East region and the international arena. On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the Saudi ambassador to the US, and Ali Al-Naimi, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. A number of senior officials including US ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia James Oberwetter represented the American side.
