For the First time, Saudi women participated in the 18th conference of the Arab libraries and data federation, currently in progress here. Dr Fatin Saeed Bamuflih from Ummal Qura university, delivered a paper on the experience of King Abdullah digital library at Ummal Qura university. In her paper, she noted that King Abdullah digital library stands as a good example for the acquisition of data. Meanwhile, Dr Najah al-Kublan, the dean of library affairs at the girls college of Riyadh girls university, and Dr al-Johara bint Abdurrahman al-Abdul-Jabbar, the professor of libraries and data at Riyadh girls university, shed light on the trends of the academicians at the Saudi universities for publishing their researches through the internet.
