The First meeting of the Chairmen of the Shoura (Consultative) and National Councils in member states of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will be held on Wednesday in Doha. Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khileifi, the Chairman of the Qatari Shoura Council, said the meeting comes in line with the approval of the GCC leaders. He noted that the meeting reflects the existing joint parliamentary works and coordination among the GCC Shoura and National Councils. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
