Officials of the national news agencies in member states of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will hold their 12th meeting here on Wednesday. The participants of the meeting are scheduled to review recommendations adopted by their 11th meeting held in Kuwait on May 12, 2004, as well as other issues pertaining to the joint media work. They will also review means of enhancing coordination among the GCC news agencies in dealing with the regional and international developments. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
