In a supplementary statement issued here, the company explained that assistance and emergency teams sped to the site of the accident and dealt with the accident during a short time after it happened. The company took the necessary operational measures concerning the gas network to ensure the continued supply of fuel. The company asserted that production and distribution operations have not been affected. The company's management appointed a high level technical committee to investigate the accident to help avoid the occurrence of similar accidents in the future. Members of the company's management expressed deep regret and sadness over this painful accident.
