Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, expressed pleasure to participate in the Third OPEC Summit, wishing Saudi leadership and people prosperity and progress. In a statement upon arrival in Riyadh today, he said "I am pleased to convey to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the greetings of Qatar's government and people and I wish King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz permanent good health and happiness and his people steady progress and prosperity". I would like also to extend my sincere greetings to the leaders of OPEC countries participating in the Third OPEC Summit, wishing the gathering effective results that contribute to the stability of world oil markets in the interests of producing and consuming countries alike.
