Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi opened here today the two-day ministerial symposium, which is organized on the fringe of the activities of the Third OPEC Summit. At the beginning of the symposium, the minister delivered a speech in which he underlined the importance of cooperation between consumers and exporters, especially in light of the economic circumstances and current environment. The minister said, "In such symposiums, we must provide all experiences to face all upcoming challenges that we and our coming generations may face. This is what we are trying to provide in this symposium." Then, sessions of the symposium began. They dealt with oil and gas markets as well as energy and the environment. --more
