The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz visited here today Saudi and Omani Siamese twins at King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard following the success of separation surgeries recently operated on them by Saudi specialized medical and surgical team. Upon arrival at the city, the Monarch was received by Executive Director General for Health Affairs at the National Guard Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabea, team's members and a number of officials. The King was assured about the health of the children and was briefed on stages of their rehabilitation and treatment following the surgeries. The Monarch congratulated the twins' parents on the success of surgeries, wishing them permanent good health and recovery. The King conferred King Abdulaziz Medal of the first class on each member of the surgical team participating in surgeries for the first time and honoring rewards on members of the medical team in appreciation of their efforts. Oman's Ambassador to the Kingdom Saeed bin Ali Al-Kalbani expressed his best thanks to the King for his noble gestures and good feelings for all citizens of Arab and Islamic nations. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also visited a child patient and an officer of the National Guard at the medical city.
