The Arab Thought Foundation has announced names of the winners of the prize of Arab innovation for this year after its approval by the Foundation's board of directors at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Prince Khalid al-Faisal, the chairman of the Foundation. The prize of technological innovation was awarded to Dr Mazin Mash'hour, from Saudi Arabia, the prize of scientific innovation to Dr Layla Zakariyya Abdulrahman, from Sudan, the prize of economic innovation to the economic program of the Palestinian family, the social innovation prize to Sheikha Haya al-Khalifa, from Bahrain, information innovation prize to Othman al-Omeir, from the electronic newspaper, the literary innovation prize to Dr Jaber Asfour, from Egypt and the arts innovation prize to Naseer Shamma, from Iraq.
