Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior has affirmed that the Interior Ministers of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have been working seriously to fight terrorism. Prince Naif made these remarks in a press statement here last night following the signing the joint statement about implementing the decision of free movement of the Saudis and Bahrainis in their two countries by carrying only personal Identity Cards (ID). Highlighting the decisions taken by the GCC interior ministers, he said these are important decisions for the unification of the security measures among the GCC countries. "It is an essential matter for the GCC countries to take into account that the world is passing through unstable conditions, and to work jointly for prevention of unhappy incidents that may undermine the security conditions in our countries," Prince Naif added. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. --MORE
