Slalom race in Levi cancelled due to lack of snow

The skiing controlling body FIS on Sunday announced that they had cancelled a men's and women's slalom World Cup event due to be held in Levi in Finland next weekend due to lack of snow, DPA reported.
FIS said they would consider moving the event to Austria and would release a statement later Sunday.
The event in Levi is only the second on this season's alpine calendar.
