A workshop on new technologies in the field of rescue and evacuation, will be organized by faculty of training at the Riyadh-based Naif Arab university for security sciences in cooperation with the international organization for civil protection from October 20 to November 2, 2007. Representatives from the administrations of civil protection and civil defense as well as the municipalities and the other concerned authorities from the Arab countries will participate in the workshop. President Naif Arab university Dr Abdulaziz al-Ghamidi said the organization of the workshop comes in line with the keenness of the university on development of the Arab cadres through fruitful cooperation with the expert international organizations in various security domains.
