The Ministry of Culture and Information and the Faculty of Call and Information, an affiliate of Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University, have signed an agreement to conduct a number of studies and researches by the university for the ministry. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry for Planning and Studies, General Supervisor of Information Technology Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sultan Al-Melhim said the agreement aims to develop services of public media institutions. Dr. Al-Melhim pointed out that the first study is related to the measurement of the size of watching Saudi television channels and identifying the affecting factors. And the second study is related to news bulletins and programs on Al-Ikhbariyyah channel compared to other channels specialized in the field of news.
