The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participates in the activities of the GCC days scheduled to be held in Amsterdam and the Hague in Holland from October 30 to November 01, 2007, it was reported here today. In a statement to highlight the occasion, Dr. Salih bin Mohammed Al-Namlah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for External Information, who leads the Saudi delegation to the event, said the decision comes as interpretation of the 17th meeting of GCC officials in charge of external information. He gave an account of the scheduled activities of his ministry in the event, citing holding three symposia, in which the Advisor to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mahanna delivers a lecture on oil and gas projects in the GCC, DR. Sulaiman bin Abdulrahman Al-Zabeeb, King Saud university professor, gives a lecture on history and antiquities and Dr. Hind bint Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, Assistant Economics Professor at Public Administration Institute, lectures on woman and economy. He said the issues of economic and commercial cooperation between GCC and Holland, the developmental role of women and building bridges between the Islamic and West worlds will be discussed during the event.
