Prince Khalid al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah region, participated here last night in the reception party organized by the society of Al-Ahya centers. He was welcomed by a number of senior officials. Speaking on the occasion, Prince Khalid expressed happiness for serving the Holy places, and said all should exert all possible efforts for the service of the pilgrims and Umrah (minor hajj) performers. He conveyed the congratulations of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz to the citizens of Makkah on the occasion of eid al-fitr. At the party Prince Khalid watched the bazaar which contained popular meals and displayed Makkah heritage. He also listened to the operetta of eid.
