The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a meeting with Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, Qatari Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs at Al-Safa Palace here tonight. During the meeting, the Premier conveyed greetings of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, to the King, who for his part, asked the Premier to convey his greetings to the Emir. The Premier hailed the King exerted efforts to guarantee the convenience of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors in performing their rites at ease. He also congratulated the King on having laid down the foundation stone for Makkah Holy Mosque's expansion project and inaugurating a number of other Two Holy Mosques and holy rites development projects. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of interest to the two countries. The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the King, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, President of General Intelligence, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed and Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the Saudi side, while Sheikh Jabr bin Yousuf Al Thani, Qatari Ambassador to the Kingdom Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahmud and the Director General of the Office of the Premier Abudllah bin Eid Al-Silaitti, attended the meeting, on the Qatari side. -- SPA
