The Secretary General of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Attiyah reiterated today that the implementation of the Unified Tariff Custom in the GCC states will yield a positive result in facilitating the entry of foreign products via one entrance point of the GCC Custom Federation. The GCC states are among the First countries in the world that applied the new specification for goods as per the coordination system for the year 2007 in its unified custom tariff at the international level, Al-Attiyah said in a press statement in Riyadh on the occasion of issuing the GCC Unified Tariff Custom by the GCC General Secretariat. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
