Japanese Prime Minister-elect Yasuo Fukuda will name Masahiko Komura to be foreign minister and Shigeru Ishiba as defense minister, national broadcaster NHK reported Tuesday. Kyodo News agency also reported that Fukuda would retain Fukushiro Nukaga, 63, as finance minister. Nukaga has also served as defense minister in a past administration. Komura, 65, served as defense minister under Fukuda's predecessor, Shinzo Abe. Ishiba, 50, served as defense minister under then-Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.
