The secretary general of Muslim world league (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsin Alturki underscored the significance of commitment of media, its firms and establishments in Arab and Islamic countries with the media honor charters issued by conferences of Arab information ministers, organization of Islamic conference and Muslim World League on several occasions. In statement issued here today, he said that MWL received messages and contacts from a number of Islamic establishments and characters as well as university professors who are worried about the history of the Islamic nations regarding the show of some television channels of serial films during the blessed month of Ramadan that distort facts of Islamic history, tell lies and fake events. Dr Alturki urged the ministries of information in Arab and Muslim countries to tighten observations on such media materials.
