The Arab League welcomed the Somali reconciliation agreement recently signed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz who is the current President of Arab Summit. In a statement, the Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa said today that the agreement is a good step forward, stressing that it is useful to achieve the signing of this agreement under the presidency of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Arab summit, as the Kingdom was leading an important political movement in this context. Moussa said that the road with regard to the Somali reconciliation is still open to unite all Somali actors to agree on a new Somalia, end the existing problems, create security in Somalia and withdraw foreign forces from the African horn Arab country.
