The Ministry of Social Affairs is tasked with social care for the citizens who are in dire need of welfare including the disabled, senile, juveniles, children and special need people. The Child care programs particularly the special need scheme receives the Ministry's great attention. There are 4 social kindergarten centers. However, there are 15 social education centers for male and female orphans and also for children who can't be provided with care ad attention from their families as supporters are dead, imprisoned or disabled. The Ministry also created the Substitute Care Program for this category awarding each substitute family with SR 1000 - SR 1200 a month for each child they host. --MORE
