The Director of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Dr. Khalid bin Salih Al-Sultan opened here today a workshop organized by Nanotechnology Center, an affiliate of Dhahran-based King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. The Undersecretary of the University for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammed Bedier delivered a speech in which he commended the donation of SR45 million extended by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for further developing this kind of technology in the Saudi universities. Following the speech, the workshop activities started where the participants gave a number of lectures on Nanotechnology. The workshop hosted a number of world experts in the field of nanotechnology from America, Europe, Singapore and Australia.
