U.S. Deputy Secretary of State John D. Negroponte's scheduled visit to Pakistan, starting on September 10, has been delayed for two days, officials said. The visit has been delayed in view of the planned return of exiled former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his younger brother Shahbaz Sharif to Pakistan at the Islamabad International Airport on September 10. Negroponte's visit to Pakistan is convened to hold Pakistan-US strategic talks with senior leaders in Islamabad. Earlier, he visited Pakistan last June.
