Two British soldiers were killed in a Taliban attack Wednesday in southern Afghanistan, AP quoted Britain's Ministry of Defense as saying. «The men were taking part in a routine patrol in Helmand Province when their vehicle was hit by an explosion,» the ministry said in a statement. A third soldier and a civilian interpreter were also injured. The names of the soldiers and interpreter have not been released. The ministry said 76 British personnel have been killed in Afghanistan since operations began there in November 2001.
