Prince Turki bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Culture and Information, called on all Saudi intellectuals and literates to work along together with the Ministry of Culture and Information to draft a cultural strategy of the Ministry. He expressed hope that the cultural sector at the Ministry as well as the members of the consultative commission and all those in charge of culture could reach a final version of the strategy to enable the Ministry to provide financial support for the components of this strategy and attract new skilled to practice their rights as literates and intellectuals. In fact, our aspiration goes further to globalization as this does not come through official or financial support only but also and, first, through the determination and true skill and talent of the literate, thinker or artist at the local level which is his way to globalization, Prince Turki said. He lauded the unlimited support for the cultural sector by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and the follow-up of Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Ameen Madani.
