Pakistan greatly values its relationship with Jordan and desires to further augment the political and economic ties between the two countries, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz says. He told the new Jordanian Ambassador to Islamabad, Dr. Saleh Al-Jawarneh, who met him, that Jordan is Pakistan's time-tested friend and both countries are bound by ties of shared faith, culture and traditions, providing tremendous scope to further strengthen these relations. The Prime Minister said that the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and Jordan once finalized would give a further boost to the trade activities and thus benefit the people of both the countries. Dr. Saleh Al-Jawarneh said Jordan attaches great value to its relations with Pakistan and desires to further augment the trade and economic ties between the two countries.
