Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday night, after stopping in the Indian city of Kolkata on his way from New Delhi to Malaysia, on the last leg of a three-nation tour that also took him to Indonesia, Japanese News Agency Kyodo reported. In Malaysia, Abe will meet Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Friday and the two leaders are set to sign a joint statement calling for cooperation in various areas ranging from political and security dialogues to the economy and the environment.
