Saudi Arabia will participate in the 2nd Alexandria Arabic Book Fair, which will be opened tomorrow at Qa'it Bay Castle in Alexandria, Egypt. The Saudi Pavilion, spread over an area of 360 square meters, which is the largest area allocated for an Arab state. Several governmental bodies including the Ministry of Higher Education which is represented by the cultural attaché center in Cairo and King Faisal of Islamic Studies and Research Library. The Saudi pavilion offers copies of King Fahd Complex for the printing of the Holy Quran and the translation of its meaning in more than forty universal languages. In addition to academic books exhibit, which is the production of Saudi universities, the Saudi pavilion also contains books on Arab heritage and varied aspects of Islamic thought. The Pavilion also includes an exhibition of photographs highlighting the various features of cultural and architectural renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom and the great cultural transformation between yesterday and today. It also displays descriptive materials and tools that reflect the originality of the tradition of the Saudi people as well as offers video projections documenting the stages of the largest historical expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and development services in the Holy areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
